NEW YORK 

New York is a state located in the Mid-Atlantic, Northeastern areas in the US. New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermon, along with Rhode Island, are neighboring states. NEW HAMPSHIRE

New Hampshire was one of the 13 original colonies that founded the United States of America and it was the first of the British North American colonies to establish an independent government from Great Britain. 

RHODE ISLAND

Rhode Island is the smallest state in terms of area, the eight most populated state, but it is the second most populated state. The state of Rhode Island is surrounded by Connecticut to the west and Massachusetts. Rhode Island is known as the Ocean State since it has several large bays and inlets.

Today, Rhode Island is know for its service based economy. It is particularly well known for its healthcare, education, and some manufacturing. 

CONNECTICUT

DELAWARE

The state of Delaware is located next to Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. It was named after an English Nobleman named Thomas West, 3rd Baron De la Warr. Even though Delware is the second smallest state in the United States, it is the sixth most densely populated.

Out of its three counties, New Castle, Kent, and Sussex, two of them have always been predominantly agricultural while New Castle County has been more industrialized. 

Delaware is often referred to as the first state, since it was the first state of what would become the Untied States, to ratify the constitution in December 7 1787.



NORTH CAROLINA

North Carolina is a state that is part of the United States and it is a neighboring state with South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia.  North Carolina is one of the most populous states in the United States. In terms of size, North Carolina is the 28th most extensive state in the united states. Interestingly, North Carolina is made up of 100 counties. 

While in the past, North Carolina's economy relied extensively in tobacco, fabric for clothing, and furniture, a new ball game is now in circulation. Today, North Carolina has a more diversified economy that covers energy, biotechnology, and finance.

SOUTH CAROLINA

South Carolina is a state in the Southeastern part of the United States that has North Carolina and Georgia. South Carolina is well known as having a slave society, with the majority of its population being slaves that were born in Africa. South Carolina also has plenty of history regarding the formation of the United States, as it was one of the first 13 colonies to get Independence from the British Empire.

South Carolina has several important outputs, including tobacco, poultry, cattle, dairy, soybeans, hay, rice, and swine. However, South Carolina is also home to many large corporations, such as Boeing, Domtar, SCANA, Sonoco Products, and ScanSource.

FLORIDA

Florida is a state in the southeastern region, next to Alabama and Georgia. It is the 22nd most extensive state but the 3rd most populous state. It's capital is Tallahasse and its largest city is Jacksonville, and Miami is the largest Metropolitan area. 

Florida has a large Hispanic community and its culture is influenced by Native Americans, European Americans, Hispanic, and African American heritages. Furthermore, its economy consists of tourism, agriculture, and transportation.
